So believe it or not but in South Australia but the day I did this post it was raining, and yes we are thankful for it as it will help with the fires burning around the country but given the challenge I thought ok, what do I do now.
So, I decided to post this picture not so much because of the weather but because of the clear skies. Much of Australia has a ghost like haze due to the fires at the moment and I know that I, for one, am looking forward to when it is gone.
This might be a bit of a strange Special Spot Shot but this was a truly amazing place to visit. When we travelled around Australia we went to Wentworth and heard about a place called the Perry Sandhills. Since we had a bit of time we took a series of back roads and arrived at this amazing spot.
The sandhills rose out of nowhere and went for miles before just stopping as abruptly as they had started. You can read about it here.
In Australia much of the fireworks have been cancelled due to the risk of fire but I would just like to remind everyone who will be near to fireworks to remember they’re pets and take the necessary precautions.
Take care and enjoy yourselves and remember, don’t drink and drive.
I will be going to bed nice and early and getting up for my first run of the New Year … best wishes
