Bob was a musician, he loved to make his guitar sing, he loved to make his drums pound, he loved to lift his voice and bellow at the sky. It was such a simple thing to be doing, but something strange was happening.
Sitting in his studio he watched the scene outside his window change as he began to play the opening chords to A Hard Day’s Night, unsurprised when an English Double Decker bus suddenly appeared.
Outback Australia didn’t get many double decker buses trundling along the dirt roads, and then he shrugged, beat a yellow submarine any day.
