Good Day All,
Another week and another 42 words, but let’s be honest we’re getting close to the end, so congrats to all who have stuck around for the final countdown and I hope you’ve enjoyed the trek so far.
So this week Dave has selected the mighty 29 but before we follow that projectory let’s first see where we hit the ball with Sara’s selection of 31.
Sara from Relax, It’s All Write
Now I know you’re all absolutely beside yourselves to find out what theme Dave has selected this week and I can confidently state that he has smashed it out of the stratosphere, he’s in orbit around jupiter, he’s fuelled up the space ship and he’s outta here. (I think I’m still reliving the sports theme here) so anyway, what is the intergalatic theme that Dave has selected this week?
Well, its the riverting …
SCI FI
Now if last weeks theme was big, this one is ginormous, I mean sci fi … or as it is defined on my mate and yours, google
-
fiction based on imagined future scientific or technological advances and major social or environmental changes, frequently portraying space or time travel and life on other planets.
Ok folks, this is a call to arms, its time to put on your A Game and create a universal gem that will fuel my imagination into outer space. I want it all folks, space, rockets, and moon dust (I made that last one up). I know you have it in you guys and gals but just remember you have limited oxygen for this gem – 42 words, to be precise, so let’s all be concise.
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | 6 | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | 19 | GONE | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
36 | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:
Tripping into the outer realms for relief.
Michael sighed, Covid-19 had changed so much. At one stage this would have been impossible, but where there’s a market, they’ll find a way.
Taking a sip of his drink he stared out of the window.
So, this was life on Mars?
PS Don’t forget to pingback.

36 should be taken. I remember taking it. We had a lovely evening with dancing and music on the beach.

I meant that I thought I picked ’36.’ Then, I was being silly about my use of the word “taken,” like taking someone on a date.

Ahh, yes you did pick 36 and it’s up next week. ☺️

That’s great Dave, you’ve even got a pop culture reference in there. 😄
