Hey everyone, so we all survived that most excruiating day for another year and I read an interesting article that we all get $70 worth of gifts we don’t want. That’s alright, regifting here we come.
Anyway before we go and see where Ramya’s selection of 30 will take us, let’s first see where Sadje’s apocalyptic 2 took us and the drama’s which unfolded.
Chelsea from A Wife, My Verse, And Every Little Thing
So, what does Christmas bring to mind, what is the one constant you can’t escape (and no it isn’t the dry turkey), what is the one enduring, sometimes excruciating thing that you encounter every Christmas come rain or shine … that’s right, it’s our theme for this week …
SIBLINGS
Siblings, options a plenty with this topic. Are they at war, are they in cahoots, are they social distancing and actually missing each other or are they simply good naturedly bickering as all siblings should.
It’s up to you folks, grab pen and paper (or keyboard and mouse) and weave me a tale with siblings. The world is your oyster, you are set free to weave a masterpiece but remember it better be short, 42 words is the limit.
Now from the fact I am posting today you should be aware that I have received some more number nominations and folks we’re getting to the pointy end of the stick now.
Chelsea has thrown in 25 for next week, Dave 39 for the week after but there are still options up for grabs, six to be precise and I think it would be really nice if everyone picked one and see if we can map this down to the final curtain call.
Throw one in the comments and let’s see what we have left.
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | 6 | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
GONE | 16 | GONE | GONE | 19 | GONE | GONE |
GONE | GONE | GONE | 25 | GONE | GONE | GONE |
29 | GONE | 31 | GONE | GONE | GONE | GONE |
36 | GONE | GONE | 39 | GONE | GONE | GONE |
Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:
Good tidings come to the quick witted few.
Max looked at the manga comics, the unwanted Christmas gift, he guessed he should be grateful Grandma even knew manga comics existed and he glanced over to his sister, Evie who appeared horrified at the makeup case.
Ok, they’d swap gifts later.
PS Don’t forget to pingback.
