42 Words #24

Hi All,

So what is in store this week, well Dave over at MMA Storytime has selected the grand number of 24 but before we go and discover where that might lead, lets first see what we were escaping from with last week’s selection.

Chelsea from A Wife, My Verse And Every Little Thing

Dave from MMA Storytime

Caramel from Learner at Love

Sadje from Keep It Alive

Sara from Relax It’s All Write

How do you escape your mind
When it follows you everywhere
It won’t let you eat, sleep, breathe
Without reminding you
The past is the past
You can’t change anything now
But your brain will never forgive you
Never let you forget

Ramya from My Musings

Rhen from Z & Z Poetry

Jenna from Raspberry Ripples

So a big thanks to Chelsea for nominating a number but now onto this week’s pick of 24 and what wonderous theme has Dave selected for us, what amazing ideas are we going to formulate, what fantastic boundaries are we going to bound over.

Well not to keep you in suspense this week’s theme is …

PARANORMAL

What exactly does the paranormal encompass you ask with wonder in your voice wll googling the definition (for what else would one do) paranormal is denoting events or phenomena such as telekinesis or clairvoyance that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding.

Easy, huh? Β Well kids I know you are all going to be keen on this one but remember not to be too keen for there are limits … 42 words to be exact.

Yet again this week we have a future pick of a number as Sadje has chosen the theme I have just been waiting for since we began with her choice of 3 but as I keep saying there are so many more to chose from so please feel free to throw one out there.

GONE 2 3 GONE GONE 6 GONE
GONE 9 GONE GONE 12 GONE GONE
15 16 GONE GONE 19 20 GONE
GONE GONE GONE 25 GONE GONE GONE
29 30 31 GONE GONE 34 35
36 GONE 38 39 GONE GONE GONE

Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:

Icy fingertips bring clarity in the end.

She was always sensitive but the cold spot in the hall really creeped her out.
Whenever she had to pass it she would cringe, almost hugging the wall.
No one understood why until they pulled up the floorboards.
Nightmares conjured forever then.

paranormal

PS Don’t forget to pingback.
