42 Words #27

Hi All,

Well this week has brought such poetic beauty with Rhen’s choice of 26 I wonder whether we’ve set an unattainable benchmark but before we go and see where Astrid’s selection of 27 will direct us, lets recap POETIC PROSE.

Rhen from Breathing Shallow Poetry

Sadje from Keep It Alive

Jenna from Raspberry Ripples

It was poetic, it was prose but it didn’t have a theme, but don’t worry about that this week for Astrid has selected one hell of a theme for this week, we get head into the clouds and trip the light fantastic and head into …

So what does romance entail, well I don’t do traditional so it can be any kind of romance you chose.  The romance of chasing your dreams, of chasing you partner, of chasing your dog as it heads into the woods.

You can be romantical in any fashion you like but make it brief, for the limit is 42 words.

Now my mate Charles has thrown the number 42 into the mix for next week but I love getting numbers so keep them coming and yes Jenna I’m looking in your direction here. Post in the comments and make me smile.

8 9 GONE GONE 12 13 GONE
15 16 GONE GONE 19 20 GONE
29 30 31 GONE GONE 34 35
36 GONE 38 39 GONE GONE 42

Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:

It was more than a koala bear could bear.

The sun was setting as he appeared but as he spied her he gaze a hopeful grunt.

Hopeful he began the climb and reaching her side he offered it to her.

Tonight love would be in the branches of the eucalyptus tree.

PS Don’t forget to pingback.
