42 Words #41

Hi All,

Thie week I am a happy woman, for we had two selections of numbers.  Charles has given us 41 and Rhen has chosen 26, which will be next week’s number of choice but before we go see where Charles is directing us, let’s head into the fartherst reaches of OUTER SPACE.

Dave from MMA Storytime

Caramel from Learner at Love

Rhen from Breathing Shallow Poetry

Sadje from Keep It Alive

Jenna from Raspberry Ripples

Absolutely loved the diversity of this week’s submissions but lets see which path Charles is leading up this week and I know this is going to get some grimaces but saddle up we’re off on a …

So we’re all going to channel our best John Wayne (Younger readers may need to google him) and head out into the open plains for an adventure, a short one though for you only have 42 words in which to explore.

As always we need more numbers so please pop a selection in the comments and make my life easier.

8 9 GONE GONE 12 13 GONE
15 16 GONE GONE 19 20 GONE
GONE GONE 24 25 26 27 GONE
29 30 31 GONE GONE 34 35
36 GONE 38 39 GONE GONE 42

Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:

Pride stolen for the clink of golden coins.

Standing back to back with his opponent Bob grimaced, painfully aware of the audience that watched on.

He’d done this a million times but as he spun he knew he was too slow.

Daffy Duck was the fastest draw in this town.

PS Don’t forget to pingback.
