42 Words #40

Hi All,

So, I’m breaking tradition a bit because we’ve had a rare occurance and I’m feeling blue.

NO ONE HAS TAKEN PART THIS WEEK IN 42 WORDS (Insert unhappy face here)

The theme is WEREWOLVES and yes there are only 42 words but it can be done.

One of our regulars, Dave from MMA Storytime often writes about fighters, so here is an example in his style.

Folks, the audience always know what it likes.

The crowd was pretty quiet and struggling with shock when the Werewolf entered the ring and challenged all comers but that was nothing when Vlad the Vampire stepped up.

Then the crowd went ballistic and proceeded to bring the roof down, literally.

If you feel the urge you can still have a go and I will still be announcing Joanne’s theme choice tomorrow … it would be nice to included some links though. šŸ™‚

And as always … all challengers are welcome.

Just a quick reminder that to keep this fun challenge going we need numbers, so if you have the urge select one from the grid below.

8 9 GONE GONE 12 13 14
15 16 GONE GONE 19 20 GONE
GONE 23 24 25 26 27 GONE
29 30 31 32 GONE 34 35
36 GONE 38 39 GONE 41 42

PS Don’t forget to pingback.

  1. I loved your flash! I barely completed any challenges this week because I’ve been trying to get back in the groove now that summer vacation is over. I definitely feel your pain about nobody completing your challenge. The only person who tries my 100 word flash fiction challenge is me. I’m hoping I’ll get more storytelling in this week!

  2. Werewolves–I fought the urge deep inside, threatening to rip out from my skin and tear me apart. A growl so deep, it shook my inner frame. It took only one bite. I don’t understand. The neighbor’s dog shouldn’t have bitten me. (sorry, I don’t have a link) šŸ™‚
