Hi All,
This week Teresa from The Haunted Wordsmith has done the honor of picking our number and I will admit when I went to the list of themes I scratched my head, but my partner assures me that this one will be a synch for all of us but before we get to the big reveal lets see the knockout tales we had for FIGHT.
There’s plenty here to whet your appetite so be sure to check out the tales listed below.

Onto this weeks 42 word challenge and Teresa picked number 28 which I hope won’t prove too tricky as it is …
SATIRE
So now is your opportunity to use of humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues but remember you only have 42 words.
I am pleased to state that I had a second selection of a number, so no need to pick this week but if you feel the urge, go right ahead. ย I love being prepared in advance.
1 | 2 | 3 | GONE | GONE | 6 | 7 |
8 | 9 | 10 | GONE | 12 | 13 | 14 |
15 | 16 | 17 | GONE | 19 | 20 | 21 |
GONE | 23 | 24 | 25 | 26 | 27 | GONE |
29 | 30 | 31 | 32 | GONE | 34 | 35 |
36 | 37 | 38 | 39 | 40 | 41 | 42 |
Here’s my take on this week’s prompt:
The perfume of money overpowers the crime
When Mark had seen the cops descending on the lone protester heโd grabbed his camera but when the police began to splutter, heโd been confused.
Then the wind had changed.
Later he learnt that the fart had been deemed a lethal weapon.
PS Don’t forget to pingback.
