Miss Tonks, the weakest, was persuaded to go on a raiding mission. It was 5:30 in the morning and the sun didn’t came out of her chamber as yet. “Are you sure this….this….this…phew! Is a good idea?” Knees wept below her weakly breathing harshly.
“A one minute walk from the hall to the benches and you’re tired already?” Mia responded sternly watching down at her colleague. She continued, “We’re on a mission and people’s life’s are on the line. You need to be strong. If you wish to discontinue, have a sit on the bench.”
“Ah! Why are you making this so hard on me?” Raising up.
“In or out?” Beginning to move forward. “In.”
“That’s the spirit.”
“I’ll thank you for this therapy when I retire! I promise you.”

And here’s my submission for the week:

Miss Tonks, the weakest, may have been persuaded to go on a raiding mission but it wasn’t going to go the way they insisted.  She had been directed by toffy nosed Tracey not to return until she had Skip’s underwear in hand, Skip being the local hunk on the football team.  Miss Tonks had not even bothered to blink at the command.

Dutifully she had walked to Skip’s house and knocked on the door.  When Skip answered she had told him Tracey’s demand and the consequences of failure.  Skip had smiled, headed upstairs and returned with his briefs.

Tracey had gushed when she received them and told Miss Tonks she could accompany them to the movies after all.

Miss Tonks had smiled, sorry but she would have to decline.  Skip was taking her on a date.  He thought she was cute and he wanted her help in picked new underwear.

They all said it was Heather,

Who made the whole thing work.

They all said it was Heather,

The calm, helpful friend.

They all said it was Heather,

But he didn’t need to pretend.

Heather did what she wanted,

She was a demanding girl

That playful young puppy of his.
