Thanks to everyone who participated this week, I really enjoyed reading the stories and I will admit I was surprised at how many variations the photo and words received.

  1. I know I’m late but I’ll still submit. I’m not going to base it on the starter given for it. I’m not into obscure writing themes.

“Don’t remove it from off your eyes yet! I’ll tell you when to.” Pushing her forward as the trail became nearer in vision with every step forward. “This is insanity Jack! Why do you plan such strange surprises?”
Don’t worry, everything will be fine. It’s not as bad as you think! Relax.” Unmoved feet buried into the soles of the green lawn. “Okay, remove it now!” She obeyed quickly untying the blindfold as it dropped to the ground he screamed, “SURPRISE!” “What’s so surprising about this?” As eyes peered disappointedly at the old, rusty, white door of an abandoned house. “It’s that new home you always wanted! I got it for you! Happy birthday!”
    “Are you kidding me?”
    “You don’t like it?”
“What makes you think I don’t? Of course I DON’T like it!” Lol that’s my submission. Blessings!
